The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) administered by the US Department of Labor connects undergraduate, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities to paid internships and full-time opportunities with federal agencies and private sector employers. Employers can hire students through the WRP for opportunities in a variety of fields, anything from business to science--students from all majors and backgrounds are welcome! The program is offered at over 330 Colleges and Universities across the US.
WRP applicants must:
Have a disability
Be a U.S. citizen
Be enrolled on a full-time basis (unless the severity of the disability precludes the student from taking a substantially full-time load) OR have graduated within the past year
Full-time students can be at any academic level--undergraduate or graduate, first-year students through recent graduates.
On the “Demographic Details” section, within the WRP application, students must check the appropriate boxes to indicate they have a disability that qualifies them for Schedule A Disability hiring. Once the “Yes” option is selected, a notice will appear to remind the student of required supporting documents to submit (Schedule A Form). Review and select "Confirm."

Once a USAJOBS profile is established, candidates will complete the WRP Application.
