The Office of Accessibility (OA) provides accommodations and support services to students
with documented disabilities.
OA continues to operate, providing full services to Winthrop students, faculty, and staff, as well as to the community. As of Fall 2022, in-person appointments have resumed. Other appointments may be available either virtually, via phone, or another technology platform. OA staff can be reached via e-mail at accessibility@winthrop.edu and at OA_Team@winthrop.edu to schedule an appointment. Please visit the Test Center for information on its availability. Read more COVID-19 Updates.
Students will need to submit an application for accommodation and upload documentation as specified on the website. The office will be in touch with them to arrange an in-person or virtual Welcome (Intake) appointment.
Students who have questions regarding accommodations and services, or questions in general, can reach staff at accessibility@winthrop.edu and at oa_team@winthrop.edu.
Faculty and staff that have questions regarding accommodations and services, or questions in general, can reach staff at accessibility@winthrop.edu or oa_team@winthrop.edu.
Our office is located on the third floor of Kinard Hall, in offices 322-325. If necessary,
OA can also explore options such as Zoom, phone, or other technology platforms to
arrange a virtual meeting.
