We are the Winthrop University Cornhole Team! With our inaugural season starting in fall 2024, our mission is to develop the best collegiate cornhole players in the country to become the most successful student athletes they can be. With a campus within walking distance of the American Cornhole League Headquarters, the Winthrop Cornhole Team is the ultimate destination for all collegiate cornhole players looking to take their game to the next level. Led by Head Coach Dusty Thompson, Winthrop Cornhole competes in a full fall semester of competition followed by participation in the National College Cornhole Championship each season.
Recruiting is open! Recruitment for a spot on the Winthrop Cornhole team begins for juniors and seniors in high school. If you are interested in joining the team, please reach out to Coach Thompson and he will provide you information on getting started.
