My Financial Aid

Sign the Master Promissory Note (MPN) Online

All first-time borrowers MUST complete an Entrance Counseling Session and sign a Master Promissory Note.   Both requirements can be completed online using the Federal Student Aid StudentAid.gov website.


Subsidized/Unsubsidized Student Loans:

  • Go to studentaid.gov and Log In.
  • Choose Complete Master Promissory Note under the Complete Aid Process header.
  • Click Start button beside MPN For Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans.
  • Complete all steps and submit.
  • Make sure to print a copy of the MPN for your records.
  • The Office of Financial Aid will electronically receive your MPN within 1-2 business days.

Parent PLUS Loan:

  • Your parent needs to go to studentaid.gov and Log In with their username and password.
  • Click Complete Master Promissory Note under the Complete Aid Process header.
  • Click Start button beside PLUS MPN for Parents.
  • Complete all steps and submit.
  • Make sure to print a copy of the MPN for your records.
  • The Office of Financial Aid will electronically receive your parent's MPN within 1-2 business days.

Graduate PLUS Loan:

  • Go to studentaid.gov and Log In.
  • Click Complete Master Promissory Note under the Complete Aid Process header.
  • Click Start button beside PLUS MPN for Graduate/Professional Students.
  • Complete all steps and submit.
  • Make sure to print a copy of the MPN for your records.
  • The Office of Financial Aid will electronically receive your MPN within 1-2 business days.
