Winthrop University has two primary colors—Garnet and Gold—that represent our university and help it stand out in the collegiate landscape. These colors should be heavily featured on any piece of collateral produced by the university.
The secondary and complementary color palettes consist of accent and neutral colors to complement the primary Winthrop Garnet and Gold. This expanded palette allows for flexibility and variety, giving us accents and pops of color inspired by our campus, Rock Hill and our region.
One important way colors are used is in branded polo shirts. These "uniforms" must represent Winthrop. Therefore, polo shirts should only be ordered with the Winthrop logo or an official co-branded logo with your department name located on the left chest area at approximately 4" in width.
