    Spirit Meal and Homecoming Court Presentation
    5-7 p.m. | Eagle Eatery (Thomson Hall)

    Chartwells, Winthrop's Dining Services provider, will host a delicious meal to fuel everyone up for the week's activities! Activites will include an eating contest and a live DJ.

    The Homecoming Royalty Court will also be presented, with voting to begin immediately afterward.

     

    Indigenous Pride Night
    7:30-9:30 p.m. | Amphitheatre (Rain Location: Tillman Auditorium)

    In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Catawba Nation will showcase traditional performances. Delivered by individuals of all ages, this is a free, family-friendly cultural event for Winthrop University students and guests.

    Soul Sessions
    5-7 p.m. | Campus Green

    Soul Sessions will be a laid-back night under the stars, bringing everyone together through music: soul, pop, acoustic, R & B, and everything in between. 

     

    Talent Show!
    8 p.m. | Dina's Place

    Residence Life and the Office of the First-Year Experience have teamed up to find the most talented Winthrop Eagles. Prizes TBD.

    Headphone Disco
    8 p.m. | Concourse (Rain Location: West Center)

    An experience like no other, get ready to dance like nobody’s watching...because no one can hear what you’re jamming to! Grab a pair of wireless headphones, choose your channel, and vibe out to music from multiple DJs spinning everything from throwbacks to today’s hits. 

    Greeks on the Greek
    5-7 p.m. | Campus Green

    All three councils (15 organizations!) will table and hang out on the Campus Green.

    NPHC Stroll Off
    7 p.m. | Amphitheatre

    Homecoming Darty
    3-6 p.m. | Campus Green

    Let's party on the Campus Green! Enjoy mocktails and light refreshments while you listen to fun music. Performances TBD.

    Homecoming Tailgate
    10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. | Winthrop Coliseum

    Celebrate Homecoming at tailgate with your fellow students, alumni, family and friends! Visit the Homecoming Tailgate website for more information. You can purchase your own tailgating spot. Parking is $20 per car, cash only.

    A campus shuttle will begin taking students to the Coliseum beginning at 10:45 a.m. at Scholars Walk. The shuttle will run every quarter hour, with the last drop-off at 7:45 p.m.

     

    Men's Basketball Game vs. Mercer University 
    2 p.m. | Winthrop Coliseum
    The men's basketball team will host the Homecoming basketball game at the Coliseum. 

    The Homecoming Royalty Court winners will be announced at halftime. 

     

    Women’s Basketball Game vs. Queens University 
    4:30 p.m. | Winthrop Coliseum
    The women’s basketball team will host Queens University at the Coliseum. 

    Admission to each exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. For information on gallery exhibitions, e-mail galleries@winthrop.edu.

     

    Legacy of a Mentor: Honoring Alfred D. Ward and His Artistic Influence
    Friday, Oct. 13-Saturday, Nov. 15 | Rutledge Gallery

    Professor Emeritus Alfred D. Ward, long-time colleague and mentor in Winthrop University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, passed away on May 20, 2025. The exhibit will feature many Winthrop alumni who studied with Alf and his own work, including the Winthrop Mace and other pieces relevant to the Winthrop University and Rock Hill community.

     

    Sacred Remnants: Reclaiming History and Identity

    An exhibition featuring works by Master of Fine Arts candidate, Austin Reynolds.

     

    The Juliet McIver Collection
    Wednesday, Nov. 12-Saturday, Jan. 31 | Rutledge Gallery

    An exhibition researched and curated by students will feature works from the collection of Juliet McIver, donated by Charlie and Nancy Wofford. Mrs. Wofford is a Winthrop alumna, Classes of 1967 and 1984.
