Homecoming Royalty Court

 

Homecoming Royalty are students who serve as role models on campus and in the community. They should exhibit qualities of leadership, appreciation for diversity, and commitment to academic and extracurricular engagement. Additionally, the students selected as Homecoming Royalty should expect opportunities to attend and to be a representative at official university events and programs.

 

Royalty Court Timeline 2025:  

Sept. 1	Royalty Court applications go live via Eagle Engage.
Oct. 21	Deadline for completed application
Oct. 27-30	Screening of applications*  *The committee will review all of the applications and determine which students advance to the Court.
Nov. 4	E-mail notification sent to those selected for the Court
Nov. 5 and 6	Picture Day for Royalty Court
Nov. 10	Homecoming Court presentation. Campaigning and voting begin after the presentation at Homecoming Kickoff event.
Nov. 14	Campaigning and voting close at noon
Nov. 14	Court practice at the Winthrop Coliseum
Nov. 15	Winners announced at halftime of men’s Homecoming basketball game
