Friday, Nov. 13: The Class of 1976 Class Reunion Reception and Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in Richardson Ballroom, located inside the DiGiorgio Campus Center. Following the dinner, the class will head to the hotel hospitality room at the Hampton Inn to continue the celebration!
Saturday, Nov. 14: The Alumni Reunion Brunch will be held in McBryde Hall from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Winthrop Archives will have memorabilia on display, and coffee, cocktails and nibbles will be available to enjoy upon arrival. The Class of 1976 photo will be at 10:45 a.m. inside Tillman Hall at the grand staircase in the lobby. Following the class photo, you will line up in the breezeway of McBryde Hall to make your grand entrance to the Alumni Reunion Brunch!

Register by Tuesday, Oct. 20. Registration for the weekend is $125 and includes the 50-Year Class Reunion Reception and Dinner, Alumni Reunion Brunch, class photo, Mini-Tatler and reunion gift bag. Bring a guest for the weekend for $70. Register below!

The Mini-Tatler is an 8.5x11 booklet that will be yours to keep. Creating a Mini-Tatler is a tradition for 50-year reunions. A printed copy of the Mini-Tatler is included in the reunion registration fee. If you cannot attend the reunion and would like to purchase a Mini-Tatler, please visit the Homecoming and Reunion registration page to purchase your Mini-Tatler for $20. Select "Class of 1976 Mini-Tatler" on the registration form. Mini-Tatlers will be mailed after Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.
Each Mini-Tatler page will include your Tatler photo, but we would also love for you to include a current photo of yourself. If you would like to include a current photo with your Mini-Tatler submission, e-mail your photo to Lori Tuttle, executive director of alumni relations, at tuttlel@winthrop.edu. You can also mail a current photo with your Mini-Tatler form, but please note that photos mailed in will not be returned. Be sure to include your name as it was in the 1976 Tatler with your photo.
We hope you’ll come to the reunion, but even if you can’t, please submit the Mini-Tatler form. Your classmates want to know about your life since Winthrop!
The Mini-Tatler submission deadline is Friday, Sept. 18.
Mailed submissions must be postmarked by Sept. 18 to be included in the Mini-Tatler.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn for Nov. 12-14. Double queen and king standard rooms are available for a rate of $119/night. Book your room by calling 803/325-1100 and ask for the Winthrop Class of 1976 room block. You can also book your room online here. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026.
In honor of our 50-year reunion, our class will raise funds to establish a Class of 1976 Endowed Scholarship. This endowment will provide critical support to assist students in obtaining a Winthrop education. For many students, scholarship support means the difference between pursuing a Winthrop degree and placing their dreams on hold. Donor-funded scholarships also help Winthrop to attract and retain talented students, and allows those students to focus on their studies rather than endure financial stress.
If you have never donated to Winthrop or have not donated in a while, now is the perfect time to give back to the school that gave us so much. For many of us, Winthrop was among the best four years of our lives and helped shape who we are today.
