Purpose of Organization: Tau Sigma is an academic honor society designed specifically to "recognize and promote
the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students." Tau Sigma will provide
social networking opportunities, contribute to enhancing the transfer student experience,
and provide support for new transfer students.
Description of Organization: Tau Sigma is an honor society recognizing the top academically achieving transfer
students at Winthrop University. The organization plans and participates in social,
educational, and service activities throughout the year.
