Purpose of Organization: To enhance the total student-athlete experience at Winthrop University. To provide a voice, protect welfare, and promote equal opportunities to all student-athletes at Winthrop University.
Description of Organization: The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is an organization that represents student athletes at Winthrop University. The committee meets bi-weekly and has at least two team representatives for each varsity team. Elected officers will lead the committee and direct all activities. SAAC will also lead and guide activities involving the student-athlete body at Winthrop University aiming to cultivate excellence, promote equality, and encourage a sense of community.
