Purpose of Organization: To raise money for the American Cancer Society and to increase cancer awareness.
Description of Organization: Relay For Life is a fundraiser put on by the American Cancer Society. All the money
raise goes to help with cancer research and any program offered by the American Cancer
Society for cancer patients. The actual event is an all night walk held at Campus
Green (rain location: SAC) from 5:00pm-1:00am. Teams can set up tents and walk the
whole night in order to symbolize that cancer never sleeps. There will be entertainment,
food and games. The registration fee is $10.00 and everyone must pay the registration
fee to get into Relay.
