Dr. Nail has been in education for nearly 30 years, begining in 1997 as a high school English teacher in rural, northcentral Florida. After eight years teaching at all levels in 9-12 grade classrooms, he returned to school at the University of Florida, completed his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008. He has worked with future teachers at the secondary and graduate levels in Florida, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Dr. Nail joined the Winthrop faculty in 2017.
