As a reminder, students who have completed First Flight in May through July are required to attend one Eagles Landing session in early August. Attendees should plan to bring:
Please note that residential students will move directly into their assigned residence hall room when they come to campus for either Session 5 or Session G. Freshman commuter students will return to their off-campus residences at the end of Day 1 and return in the morning for the Day 2 events and to register for fall classes. Transfer commuter students will return to their off-campus residences at the end of their Orientation day. Attendees should plan to bring:
- Items to move into residence hall room (if living on campus)
- Comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes
- Alarm Clock (You are required to be on time to sessions on Day 2, regardless of living on campus or commuting.)
- Pens and pencils
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Umbrella or rain jacket, just in case
Spring Orientation is required for all new undergraduate students whose first semester at Winthrop will be the Spring semester. Attendees should plan to bring:
Family members planning to attend Family Orientation should plan to bring:
- Comfortable clothes and shoes (please note that there is moderate walking around campus for each session)
- Water bottle
- Pen/pencil and notebook
- Umbrella or rain jacket
