Submitting A Work Request

  1. Click MORE beneath Winthrop University.

  2. Select FARM or MAIN from the drop-down menu.

    • FARM refers to the Research and Recreation Complex.

    • MAIN refers to the main campus.

  3. Click MORE and select your building.

  4. Select MORE to choose your floor.

  5. Select your room from the list.

  6. Enter a brief but clear description of your request. Describe the issue as accurately as possible. A good description – “Commode in upstairs bathroom is not flushing when you use the handle. Handle appears to be broken.” Submitting“Commode is broken” is not sufficient when describing the request.

  7. Attach documents or images, if applicable.

  8. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

After You Submit

  • You will receive an automatic work request number. Keep this number for future reference.

  • After the request is reviewed by SSC, you will receive an email indicating whether the request has been issued or denied.

Query Work Request

  • From the menu on the left of the page, select Service Request Status to check the status of your work request.  You will need the work request number issued when submitted.

Priority and Response Time

Work orders are prioritized based on urgency. Some requests require additional time due to complexity or scope. Submitting multiple work requests will not speed up the process and may cause delays.
