Purpose of Organization: The
purpose of Winthrop's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta
Lambda is to provide opportunities for students at Winthrop University to
develop vocational competencies for business, office, and leadership
occupations, and business teacher education. Winthrop FBLA-PBL will promote a sense
of civic and personal responsibility through community service and other
projects.
Description of Organization:We
are a student organization designed to help students become future leaders
through competitive events, leadership opportunities, and professional
development events both on campus and during conferences. We also help members
learn more about potential career options. FBLA-PBL is also a sponsor of March
of Dimes, an organization devoted to helping babies born prematurely and their
families.
