Certifications

The Office of Recreational Services provides all student employees who are required to have a First Aid, CPR and AED certification with an opportunity to attend, free of charge, an American Red Cross course to be certified.  Classes are taught in-house by professional staff members who are certified American Red Cross instructors.  Any other required certifications must be obtained by the student employee at the employee's expense.

These certifications can include, but may not be limited to:

  • Group Fitness Instructor Certifications
  • Lifeguard Certifications
  • Personal Trainer Certifications
