Eligibility Requirements:
Employed with the Winthrop University for at least 12 months.
Have worked at least 1,250 hours during the 12-month period preceding request for FMLA leave.
Employee Procedure for Own Illness or to Care for a Family Member:
Request PPL by contacting the Human Resources office at 803/323-2273 or HRhelp@winthrop.edu. Or Submit FORM.
The required documents need to be supplied to HR within 30 days.
Completed PPL documents can be e-mailed to HRhelp@winthrop.edu or delivered to the Human Resources office in 303 Tillman Hall.
