Patient Rights and Responsibilities

Winthrop University Health Services is committed to protecting the rights of every patient by preserving dignity and honoring personal values.

Patient Responsibilities

  • Asking questions if he/she does not understand the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, or any instructions
  • Following rules and regulations that are posted within Winthrop University Health Services
  • Paying the charges billed
  • Providing accurate information about their past health history
  • Providing the necessary personal information to complete medical file
