*Qualifying Students are students who are eligible to pay the Center for Student Wellness
semester fee (if applicable); and are 1. Undergraduate students enrolled in a minimum
of 6 credit hours; or 2. Graduate or Professional Students enrolled in the graduate
or professional degree program, taking at least one graduate level course, in good
academic standing and making appropriate progress toward graduation.
Winthrop University does not have a hard waiver requirement for domestic students.
Health insurance is mandatory for international students and the charge for the Student
Health Insurance Plan will be added to tuition and fees. International students who
have comparable alternate insurance may submit a Waiver to https://winthrop.myahpcare.com
for review in order to have the insurance charge removed from the student’s account.
