The Winthrop University Center for Career Development and Internships (CDI) is committed to preparing students for meaningful and fulfilling careers. Our Sponsorship Program offers a unique opportunity for employers and community organizations to engage directly with talented students while supporting critical career readiness initiatives.

Sponsors benefit from enhanced brand recognition on campus, increased engagement with emerging talent, and personalized opportunities to strengthen recruiting strategies. Your 2025-26 investment supports student success and positions your organization as a leader and valued partner in shaping the future workforce.

Employer Sponsorships

    Package includes:

    • Logo on CDI website
    • Promotional slide on digital signage in DiGiorgio Campus Center (one week in fall or spring semester)
    • Featured on social media post (1x per semester) - Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook (2.5K+ followers across all platforms) 
    • Boosted exposure within Handshake
      • Featured in biweekly career newsletter to students (1x per semester)
      • Targeted emails (1-3x per semester) to students
      • Featured in a Collection of CDI Sponsors

    Includes all the Garnet Sponsorship Package plus:

    • Named Career Fair Sponsor for one event: Part-time Job Fair, Fall, Education, or Spring (up to 2 organizations per fair)
      • 2 reserved parking spots for each organization; priority table location
      • Registration included, for one table and up to 4 representatives
      • Logo included in all marketing materials
    • Mock Interview Event (4 per year)
      • 2 employer sponsors per event; participate in delivering mock interviews
      • Table display at entrance and logo included in all marketing materials

    Includes all the Gold Sponsorship Package plus:

    • Named Signature Event Sponsor: Logo on all promotional materials, sign/table at event, participation (when applicable)
      • Etiquette Dinner (2 per year): One employer, up to 5 representatives as table hosts
      • Pop-up Career Closet and Headshots (2 per year)
      • Internship Academy (1 per year): speaking/presentation opportunities

 

Individual or specialized options may also be available, such as: sponsoring a Career Trek; special programs for First-Generation students; and networking events. Sponsorships are for one year.
