PhotoID System

The Photo ID System allows faculty to view photos of students who are registered for their courses.

Access the Photo ID System

Access requirements depend on whether you are working on campus or remotely.

 

Accessing the Photo ID System on Campus

When working on campus:

  1. Connect your device to the WinthropSecure Wi-Fi network.
  2. Do not connect to GlobalProtect VPN while on campus.
  3. Open a web browser and go to the Photo ID System.
  4. Sign in using your Winthrop credentials, if prompted.

Important: GlobalProtect VPN is not required when you are connected to the Winthrop University network on campus. Do not use GlobalProtect VPN while on campus.

 

Accessing the Photo ID System Remotely

When working remotely, you must connect to the Winthrop University network through GlobalProtect VPN before accessing the Photo ID System.

  1. Open GlobalProtect on your device.
  2. Connect to the Winthrop University VPN.
  3. Once the VPN connection is established, open a web browser.
  4. Go to the Photo ID System.
  5. Sign in using your Winthrop credentials, if prompted.

Important: A GlobalProtect VPN connection is required to access the Photo ID System when working remotely.
