In fall 2018, Vice President Shelia Higgs Burkhalter created and charged the Student
Affairs Strategic Planning Team to develop a Division of Student Affairs strategic plan that will set a course for the next few years. This plan will align
the division’s goals, priorities, and initiatives to The Winthrop Plan. The team has also been charged with reexamination of the division’s mission, vision,
and values, as well engaging students, faculty, staff, and institutional leaders in
the process to provide critical feedback. The final draft of the Division of Student
Affairs Strategic Plan is expected to be complete by early summer 2019.
