Students - July 21, 2020

Dear Students:
As Winthrop prepares to welcome you back to campus next month, I wanted to invite you to join me and other members of senior leadership for a Students/Families virtual town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30.

As we plan to reopen campus for fall 2020, there are many details and issues to address, and we understand you may have questions. This hour-long town hall is designed especially for you and your loved ones in order for us to provide you with answers as we prepare to welcome you back in a little over a month.

How to Ask a Question

Your voices and questions are important. I invite your questions to be shared with us in advance by noon on Friday at townhalls@winthrop.edu or, if time during the meeting, asked/answered online toward the end of the town hall.

Accessing the Town Hall Meeting

The town hall meeting will be accessible via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra on July 30 at 6:30 p.m.  A video recording also will be made available following the town hall if you are unable to participate live. More details on how to view the town hall will be provided by email next week.

Please know that you are a valued member of the Winthrop community, and we look forward to hearing from you as we prepare for the fall. I hope you can join us on July 30.

Warm regards,

George
