Students - April 14, 2022

Dear Campus Community,

I am happy to share with you that our Campus Master Plan design team will be on campus this week. You are invited to attend a public poster session on the Community Concourse between DiGs and the West Center on Wednesday, April 20. Please stop by any time between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. This will be the second opportunity that members of the campus community will have to engage with the planning team and share input.

Representatives will be there to:

· Share preliminary ideas about proposed future changes to the campus, including new buildings, additions and/or renovations to existing buildings, and landscape enhancements.

· Seek feedback from the campus community on which projects/proposals will have the greatest impact to the campus. This feedback will help inform the prioritization of the different elements of the plan.

In case of inclement weather, the session will be hosted in DiGs Lobby.

I want to thank the Campus Master Plan Steering Committee, led by Chris Johnson and Kimberly Faust, for all its work to date.  This is an exciting opportunity for us to see the design team’s proposed options for Winthrop’s future. I hope you will plan to stop by and share your ideas and feedback.

Warm Regards,
George
