Faculty and Staff - March 13, 2026

Over the past year, we have seen great progress on many of our initiatives outlined in the strategic plan, Winthrop: United in Excellence.  One of our original Phase I initiatives was to begin work on a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy that would align marketing efforts across campus, raise awareness of the Winthrop brand and tell our story in a more impactful way.  In April 2025, we began this important work in partnership with 160over90, a highly respected marketing agency with an impressive track record of creating bold, compelling campaigns for higher education institutions. Their collaboration with our University Communications and Marketing team has resulted in an exciting and dynamic new brand platform that will attract new students to Winthrop as well as resonate with our many other audiences. 

The team is excited to unveil this new brand strategy to all of you and officially kick off the next iteration of the Winthrop brand!  Please join us for a Brand Launch Presentation, led by 160over90, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Whitton Auditorium.  (There will even be some new swag you can leave with!) You’ll learn about the process, the development of the strategy and the new creative direction for our marketing.  We think you will love it, and I hope you will join us to celebrate this important milestone in our strategic plan work.
