Dear Colleagues:
I hope your summer is going well, and that you are as excited as I am about soon ushering in Winthrop’s 136th academic year. As I’ve shared with you before, our current plan for the fall semester is to get back to as normal operations as possible and to provide our students with the best and safest college experience as we can. It will take teamwork and dedication, but we know that Winthrop is up to the challenge. As always, I appreciate your leadership and guidance as we make and move forward with these important preparations.
I am proud to share with you the latest edition of the Winthrop Magazine. In this edition, you’ll find a variety of compelling stories, including a new and exciting literacy initiative made possible by trustee Gary Williams and his wife, Peggy. I know we all appreciate the generosity of the Williamses and their commitment to Winthrop.
