Alumni and Friends - July 29, 2022

Dear Friends:

Email cannot convey the pride I feel at sharing with you the summer edition of the Winthrop Magazine. As I clicked through its pages, the accomplishments of our programs, students, alumni, and faculty and staff stood out. Reading these articles made me even more excited to be back home at Winthrop leading a university that undertakes important and notable work.

In this magazine edition we highlight the university’s upcoming Quality Enhancement Plan – Flight Ready – and the Campus Beautification Initiative, both of which came together under former Interim President George Hynd. There’s also a Q&A that I hope will help everyone get to know me and my family better, plus other articles of interest including:
