Dr. Elizabeth Ondula is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Winthrop
University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern
California and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from
Technical University of Kenya. Her research spans, reinforcement learning, language
models, and multi-agent systems, with a focus on safety, reliability, and emergent
behavior in complex physical and social environments. Her teaching emphasizes software
engineering and applied computing, including courses in software engineering, web
application design and development with a strong focus on hands-on system building
and real-world engineering practices.
