Dr. Shengyu (Henry) Huang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Winthrop University. His research focuses on asset pricing, financial institutions, machine learning, and financial technology (FinTech). Dr. Huang’s research has been published in the Journal of Futures Markets. His working papers have been presented at leading finance conferences, including the FMA Annual Meeting, FMA European Conference, FMA Asia/Pacific Conference, EFMA Annual Meeting, and Applied Finance Conference. One of his papers was also selected as a semi-finalist for the Best Paper Award at the 2026 FMA Annual Meeting.
