Dr. Wolff is a community ecologist. His research focuses on how abiotic and biotic environmental factors influence species interactions. Dr. Wolff’s current areas of research include thermal stress and sound pollution. He evaluates these factors from the perspective of consumer-resource interactions (including predator-prey and herbivore-plant relationships), typically involving arthropod systems.
Dr. Wolff completed his B.S. in Biology at Hope College before moving to Mississippi
State University for his graduate studies. He completed an M.S. and Ph.D. in Biological
Sciences. Dr. Wolff currently teaches courses in Zoology, Ecology, and Biostatistics
at Winthrop University.
