Dr. Reel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina in 1997. She subsequently completed a master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education at USC-Columbia in 1998. She has been teaching mathematics at York School District One since 1998. In 2010, Dr. Reel earned her Doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Walden University.
Since 1998, Dr. Reel has been dedicated to high school mathematics instruction and has been an adjunct instructor at Winthrop University since 2016. She is passionate about teaching mathematics and mentoring future educators. Dr. Reel advocates for enhancing mathematical literacy and aims to make mathematics engaging and accessible.
In her personal time, Dr. Reel enjoys spending quality time with her family and supporting The Gamecocks.
