Margaret Nance Hall

Originally named "North Dormitory" and Winthrop's first residence hall, Margaret Nance is a traditional hall that was built in 1895 and is a classic first year college experience for women. Margaret Nance contains hall-style bathrooms as well as three fireplace lounges and several study areas. Located in the center of campus, Margaret Nance is connected to Bancroft, Owens, and Kinard by a covered walkway.
