Originally named "North Dormitory" and Winthrop's first residence hall, Margaret Nance is a traditional hall that was built in 1895 and is a classic first year college experience. Margaret Nance contains hall-style bathrooms as well as three fireplace lounges and several study areas. Located in the center of campus, Margaret Nance is connected to Bancroft, Owens, and Kinard, and is close to the DiGiorgio Campus Center.
