Lego WeDo

legowedo

Lego WeDos are kits of lego building blocks that can be put together and programmed to move or perform tasks!  The Lego WeDo app shoes students in a step-by-step manner how to build robots based on various tasks students would like the robot to be able to complete.  Once the robots are built, the WeDo app suggests how to program the app and shows students guiding questions for testing and modifying both the robot and the program.  There is even a built in portfolio area in the app where students can add images of their robot, add text to discuss their robot, and record the robot working or themselves talking about the robot.

Look at their website for more information, tutorials and educator ideas and resources.
