A/V Services

A/V Services at Winthrop University is part of the Instructional Technology Center in the Richard W. Riley College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences and provides multimedia and presentation technology support to hundreds of clients each year campus-wide.

Multimedia Support

The mission of A/V Services is to support areas of campus where presentation technologies are not readily available or accessible. A sampling of these areas include:

  • McBryde Hall
  • Plowden Auditorium
  • Tillman Auditorium
  • Tuttle Dining Room
  • Student Activity Center
  • The Shack
  • West Center
  • Campus-wide conference rooms

Multimedia presentation support for programs, events, and meetings usually include:

  • LCD (PowerPoint) projectors
  • Screens
  • Laptops (when available)
  • Cabling
  • Presentation audio integration

Dual-screen multimedia projection is available in McBryde Hall for lecture presentations and banquets larger than 150 attendees.

A/V equipment is available to check-out for Winthrop related programs on a daily basis only.

Training on any multimedia technology equipment is available in the ITC.
