Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB-International), the premier
accrediting agency for business school programs. Less than one-third of U.S. business
school programs and less than 5% of programs worldwide hold this accreditation. AACSB-International
accreditation assures quality and promotes excellence and continuous improvement.
Winthrop University is also accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; 404/679-4501) to award bachelors, masters, and specialist degrees.
