Enrollment Verification Requests

While enrollment verification is available through Wingspan, you may need to request enrollment verification for the following military benefits: 

 

Military IDs, TRICARE insurance, and other non-education benefits:

Enrollment verification on University letterhead is available by emailing recandreg@winthrop.edu your Winthrop ID number and the purpose of your request. Processing an enrollment verification letter takes at least 24 hours after our office receives the request. Please plan accordingly.

 

ChampVA insurance:

All students approved for Chapter 35 DEA may also be approved for ChampVA insurance. The VA Benefits Office submits enrollment verification to ChampVA for all new students who indicate ChampVA approval on their certification request forms and continuing ChampVA students after the add/drop deadline for Fall and Spring semesters. ChampVA frequently experiences processing backlogs. We recommend that you call ChampVA to verify your insurance enrollment 7-10 days after receiving the verification email from our office, If the ChampVA representative requests submission of the school enrollment verification, please email va@winthrop.edu your request.
