Kimarie earned her PhD in Education online through Capella University. Her specialization is Instructional Design for Online Learning. Kimarie's experience in higher education is in the areas of online learning; instructional design; training; student services; academic advising; and teaching courses in educational technology, management information systems, and computer applications. Her areas of interest include accessibility in online learning, universal design for learning, instructional design for online learning, online learning in higher education, and instructional technology. In her spare time, Kimarie enjoys mentoring, volunteering with church activities, and spending time with family.

Kayla holds a M.Ed. in Learning, Design & Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration. She graduated from Winthrop University with a B.S. in Educational Studies, concentrating in early childhood, and a double minor in human development and family studies and community-based learning. With over four years of experience in curriculum development and over six years in various educational environments, she now serves as a Learning Technologist within the department, where she provides faculty support, training, and developing course content. Kayla also enjoys creating social media content for the Office of Online Learning!

Kim has been with Winthrop University for 20 years. She began working part-time with the Office of Online Learning in 2012 and transitioned to a full-time role in 2014. Kim holds a M.Ed. in Learning Design & Technology from Winthrop University. As a Learning Designer, she supports faculty with course design and development, facilitates Online Teaching Certification courses, and provides instructional training and assistance to enhance the quality of online education at Winthrop. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time outdoors, playing with her two dogs, and traveling.

Lee joined the Office of Online Learning in January 2020 and now serves as a Learning Designer here. She has experience in administrative and instructional roles in public K-12 schools and public and private universities. She holds an M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology from Winthrop University, an M.P.P. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, and an M.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University.

Melanie joined the Office of Online Learning in the summer of 2024. She earned her B.S. in Physics from Binghamton University and is currently enrolled in the M.Ed. Learning Design & Technology program. Before joining Winthrop University, Melanie taught 7th Grade Science. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys vermiculture, making music, and spending time with her cat, Puff!
