The History graduate degree prepares students for careers in such fields as teaching, law, library and archival work and journalism, as well as in areas less directly related to the study of history including fields in business and industry.

The history faculty at Winthrop University is comprised of scholarly, talented, energetic, and friendly individuals who are devoted to student learning and promoting the study of history.
