Graduate Assistant & Associate Positions

Please review the Graduate Assistant and Graduate Associate Position Guidelines (PDF - 123KB), which describe the general responsibilities of graduate assistants and associates.

Graduate assistantship and associate positions provide a form of financial assistance available to qualified graduate students. Students who are awarded graduate assistant or associate positions are required to work on campus, and in return receive a stipend and tuition grant. Stipends are set at $3500/per semester for 20 (twenty) hours/week of employment. The exact dollar amount of the tuition grant may vary by position.

Graduate assistant and associate positions are awarded to students who are fully and provisionally admitted to graduate degree programs. To retain a graduate assistant or associate position, the student must maintain academic eligibility and may not be on academic probation. Non-degree students may not hold graduate assistant or associate positions. Students enrolled for student teaching are ineligible to serve as a graduate assistant/associate that semester. Students must enroll in a minimum of 9 (nine) hours of course credit for their official hiring proposal to be processed.

Use the links below to see the list of graduate assistant and associate positions across campus.  Pay special attention to each position's availability and restrictions.
