Admission to Teacher Education Information

All students should review the following admission information before beginning the process and asking for additional guidance.  Many of the most common questions are intentionally addressed in these resources.


Undergraduate Certification Majors and Educational Studies Minors

All students completing certification requirements at the undergraduate level or pursuing the Educational Studies Minor are required to complete the Teacher Education Program Admission process before registering for restricted coursework. Some Educational Studies Majors may choose to pursue admission to the Teacher Education Program in order to take restricted coursework at the undergraduate level.

MAT Students

Students who are completing the MAT program and were not admitted as undergraduates through the Educational Studies Major or Minor are required to meet requirements while enrolled in the graduate program. 

Note that you will indicate in the admission system that you have watched the videos before you can submit the application. If you have questions after watching the videos please contact Student Academic Services in Withers 144.
