If there's one thing I'd like you to know about me, it's this: I love what I do, I love teaching, I love mentoring students, and I believe there is no greater privilege than helping someone discover their potential and watching them achieve goals.
I'm both a registered nurse and a business professor, and those roles have more in common than you might think. Both are about serving others, building trust, solving problems, and helping people reach their full potential. I may not take your temperature, but I will check on you, encourage you through challenges, help you get better, and always remind you that you are capable of more than you think. Caring for people has always been at the heart of who I am, and that philosophy shapes the way I teach, mentor, and lead our department.
What makes our department different? Our people.
We're a department that believes relationships matter. We celebrate one another's successes, support each other through challenges, and work hard to create a place where every student feels known, valued, and encouraged. We want our department to feel like a community where you can ask questions, try new things, make mistakes, grow as a leader, and build friendships that last long after graduation.
Business is ultimately about people. Whether you're launching a business, leading a healthcare organization, managing a team, creating marketing campaigns, or solving global supply chain challenges, success begins with curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. Those are qualities we strive to develop in every student.
