Offering a wide range of rotations, Winthrop collaborates with more than 70 facilities in the Carolinas and many primarily located in South Carolina, including acute care hospitals, renal dialysis centers, long-term care, community and state extension programs, private consulting firms, university health, corporate wellness, public school systems, and diverse out-patient clinics. Each intern is individually scheduled with a set of rotations within a specific geographical location in South Carolina or in some areas of North Carolina.
