 Dr. Guenther teaches Anatomy and Physiology courses within the department and serves as the Experiential Learning Coordinator for Biology. Her research interests include effective teaching strategies in STEM courses such as collaborative testing, experiential learning (internships, clinical shadowing, etc.), and the use of meditation in the context of test anxiety. She previously taught Anatomy and Physiology and served as Department Chair for Natural and Physical Sciences at Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, and her doctoral research included studies on the neural control of breathing.
