Teacher Certification- Biology (Grades 9-12)

Biology majors can complete the Educational Studies minor followed by a one year Accelerated Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) to become a certified high school biology teacher. For Biology majors that become interested in this option later in their degree program, they can opt for the Traditional 2 year MAT.
