Programming, Activities, and Trips

The organization offers a variety of social and educational programming as well as opportunities to work with students, and community outreach. The college’s leadership is eager to offer new programs and services that fit the organization’s mission.

Such programming might include:

  • Informal social events from coffee drop-ins to social hours and dinners at local restaurants
  • Presentations from present Winthrop faculty and administrators, community leaders, and emeriti faculty both in person and online.
  • Research presentations from emeriti faculty.
  • Volunteer activities working with campus groups such as Center for Career Development and Internships Advocacy initiative on behalf of emeriti faculty
  • Community
  • Information sessions for future retirees

  • AROHE webinar (Zoom): Social Relationships – The Key to a Happy and Successful Retirement, Wednesday, September, 18, 1-2:30 p.m. free but registration required
