Your support empowers our student-athletes on the field, in the classroom, around our community, and beyond in their life after being a Winthrop Lacrosse student-athlete. With your generosity, we are able to provide a well-rounded student-athlete experience where we compete at the highest level on the field, graduate strong female leaders, and aid in creating lifelong memories through meaningful development and team bonding. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact for our student-athletes on and off the field for years to come. Donations from this giving season will specifically go towards the following initiative to enhance the student-athlete experience:

  • Locker Room Enhancements 
    • 38 New Lockers with creative ways to maximize space with seats ($80-83,000)
    • Flooring ($10-25,000)
    • Painting ($5,000)
    • New furniture ($15,000)
    • Updated Graphics ($5,000)
  • Spring Break Trip to Nashville Experiences
    • Team Line Dancing Class ($1,600)
    • Grand Ole Opry Concert and/or Tour ($1,840-$4,400)
    • Country Music Hall of Fame Museum Visit ($1,600)
    • Double Decker Sightseeing Bus Tour ($1,400)
    • Elevated In-Restaurant Dinner Experience ($1,500)
  • Graduate-Assistant Lacrosse Coach
    • 2-year graduate program and stipend, depending on area of study/out-of-state vs in-state ($50,000-61,000)
