Changing a Password Stored in Keychain
- Open Keychain Access:
- Go to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.
- Alternatively, you can use Spotlight by pressing Cmd + Space and typing "Keychain Access".
- Locate the Password:
- In the Keychain Access window, select the login keychain from the left sidebar.
- Use the search bar in the top-right corner to find the item named "print2022".
- Check the Password:
- Double-click print2022 in the list to open its details.
- Check to make sure your username is correct. Edit if not.
- In the details window, click the Show password checkbox. You may need to enter your macOS user password to proceed.
- Change the Password:
- Once the password is visible, you can edit it directly in the Password field. Change it to your current Winthrop login password.
- After making the changes, click Save Changes.
- Test the New Password:
- Try to print to the Print2022 queue to ensure the new password is working correctly.
- Close Keychain Access:
- Once you've printed successfully, you can close Keychain Access.
