If you receive formal legal documentation:

  • Do not ignore it.
  • Review the lease carefully.
  • Contact the landlord immediately.
  • Seek legal guidance.
  • Notify the Dean of Students Office for support and referral guidance.

Off-campus housing arrangements are private contractual matters between students and property owners. Students are responsible for understanding the terms of any lease they sign.
