Meet the 2019-20 President

Imani

Imani Belton is a senior Integrated Marketing Communication major with a minor in Leadership Studies from Greenville, South Carolina. Her desire to become more involved in the community around her started as a freshman when she began to volunteer for various nonprofits in the Rock Hill and Greater Charlotte area. Her first on-campus opportunity to serve Winthrop was when she became an Annual Member on the Council of Student Leaders (CSL) in the Spring 2018 semester. During her time at Winthrop, Imani has served as an Academic Success Center Tutor, Diversity Peer Educator, Peer Mentor, a member of the LIFT planning committee, and the Public Relations co-committee chair on CSL. In her free time, she enjoys fellowshipping with friends, being creative with editing software, and exercising. Imani is looking forward to being able to grow as a leader and serve her Winthrop community well.
