Meet the 2020-21 President


Brandon Jackson is a senior, Business Administration major with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in Psychology from Columbia, South Carolina. Since his freshman year, became heavily engaged with the Winthrop community. Whereas Brandon is a 2017 Emerging Leader, he pays homage to the program as the beginning of his leadership journey here at Winthrop University. Throughout his time at Winthrop, Brandon has served as a two time Resident Assistant in Richardson Hall and Vice Chair of the Council of Student Leaders (Student Body Vice President). Recently, Brandon was elected as the President of the Winthrop University National Pan-Hellenic Council as well. Brandon spends much of his free time hanging out on campus, supporting his peers, listening to music, and traveling. He believes in servant leadership, academic success, and capitalizing on peer success. Brandon is looking forward to a prosperous year here at Winthrop University.

Meet the 2020-21 Vice President


Ravyn Cunningham is a senior, Political Science from Columbia, South Carolina. Since her freshman year, Ravyn has been deeply engaged with campus organizations, Winthrop and the Rock Hill community. She extends gratitude to the Anne Springs Close Scholars group for providing her with the opportunity to advance her servant leadership journey. Throughout her time at Winthrop, Ravyn has served as a two time Resident Assistant in Thomson Hall, National Communications Coordinator for the Residents’ Student Association, Community Service Chair for the John “JT” Timmons Chapter of National Residence Hall Honorary, and is a member of The Mu Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha. You may often find Ravyn enjoying quality time with her friends, engaging in service projects within the community, and traveling to explore different cultures. Ravyn is a strong believer in personal and professional development, resiliency, and service learning. She is excited for the journey and success that this academic year will bring.
