Sustainability Minor

Director's Message

Sustainability is generally defined as meeting the needs of today without compromising the needs of future generations. Increasingly, college graduates are being asked to have a working knowledge of sustainability issues. A minor in sustainability complements many majors on campus and will better prepare graduates for work and study once they leave campus.

This minor, new in fall 2011, includes course offerings from many departments across campus. It includes the interrelated topics of environmental stewardship, social justice, and economic vitality.

Thank you for your interest in this minor. Be sure also to investigate the Sustainable Business concentration in the College of Business and Technology and various campus sustainability initiatives. If any of your questions have not been answered by the information found on our website, please contact us.
